But, due to the economic sanctions imposed on Russia, India cannot pay in dollars even if it wants. Taking the break, both the countries have decided to pay in each other's currency. Now America fears that the rupee-ruble deal may weaken the sanctions imposed on Russia and President Vladimir Putin can do similar deals with other countries as well. America is constantly warning India about this thing.
